Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable has retracted his words after claiming to be the leader of a cult group “One Million Boys“.
The singer has been making news headlines for a couple of days now and it’s on the negative side.
Portable had a few days ago through a video he shared on social media publicly claimed to be a member and leader of a popular cult group that has led to the destruction of properties in Lagos.
The video gained wide attention on social media which resulted in police requesting a probe over his comment.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alkali Baba Usman, on Monday ordered a probe into a claim by controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, that he founded a dreaded cult group, One Million Boys.
In a statement, Muyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer (PRO) said the Lagos Commissioner of Police has been asked by IGP Baba Usman to investigate Portable.
But in less than 24 hours, Portable released a video where he retracted his words describing himself as a pastor with many followers and never a cult leader.
In his words, Portable said he is like a pastor with many followers or a herbalist and alfa with many followers. The singer added that he is an angel with many followers behind him.
