On Sunday evening, terrorists invaded Bali, a town located in Taraba State. According to reports, they attacked the community at 11 p.m., killing several people and kidnapping women.
They arrived on their motorbikes, according to those familiar with the incident.
The two of his subjects were also victims of the attack, according to Tiv Central leader and Chief of Tiv Bali Town Zaki David Gbaa. He said that when bandits raided his community, they killed everyone and took their women with them.
“Around 11:pm, the invaders entered the town. In the attack, two of my subjects were slain, and two more who suffered serious injuries are currently undergoing medical attention.
“Many individuals were kidnapped, particularly women. It’s a horrible situation, and I want to urge the government and security organizations to take notice and make sure that individuals’ lives and property are protected.
The bandits kept the town hostage for more than four hours while intermittently firing, while security services did nothing. The public is losing faith in the government’s capacity to keep people safe, and in my opinion, the bandits are no more dangerous than our security forces, the man remarked.
The traditional leader has also urged the government to assist those who have been hurt and are seeking medical care in hospitals.
